The present assignment includes the execution of works on the sanitary facilities, including the associated demolition and finishing works, in the faculty building L4 on the Etterbeek campus of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Building L4 is part of it of the building cluster “building L”, which mainly houses the sports infrastructure of the campus. This cluster includes a swimming pool, a fitness room (Basic-Fit), two full-fledged gymnasiums and a martial arts gym. Within this configuration, building L4 functions as a central hub that connects the various sub-buildings. The ground floor and first floor play an important role as access and circulation zones, supplemented with supporting functions. The upper floors are used by the Faculty of Physical Education and Physiotherapy for educational, research and administrative purposes (offices, classrooms and laboratories).
