The Government of Jersey (GoJ) requires pre-employment background clearance checks are made on employee (inc interns/volunteers ) candidates. Additionally, GoJ requires the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks for existing staff working in areas/roles that require enhanced checks on a regular basis.

Suppliers must be able to demonstrate current experience of undertaking such checks and have in place/in operation ( live system) the ability to receive, manage and deliver requests via a secure electronic portal service model provision.

Speed of completing the clearance checking process is a key deliverable for the process to ensure that new staff members are brought onboard in a timely manner to enable the relevant department to fulfil their due diligence obligations.

Contract term is likely to be 3 years.

Description of Services:

This project involves the partial demolition, refurbishment and internal remodel of an existing dwelling, Camden House, for the development of the Overdale Acute Hospital in accordance with Planning Decision Notice 2024/1025. The works will involve the creation of a new kitchen including associated structural and architectural alterations for the purposes of providing residential accommodation.

The works, generally, shall include;

β€’ Demolition existing extension and building new gable wall;
β€’ Design and construction of new mechanical, electrical and plumbing services within the building in accordance with the latest building regulations;
β€’ External landscaping and gardening works, including the provision of suitable car parking;
β€’ Decoration and finishes of the internal spaces in accordance with the architectural scope of works.

The Contract for the works will be the NEC4 ECC Option A contract (Jan 2023 edition) with standard NHFP bespoke amendments.

The anticipated start on site date is Q1 2026.

The scope of this procurement is Value Added Reselling and Technical
Support Services.

GoJ is seeking to agree a multi-year contract with between 1 and 4 Business
Partners to facilitate the sale of the geospatial datasets.
This will also include other geospatial information should they subsequently become available.
