(QM) was founded in late 2005 to manage the resources of all museums in the State of Qatar, to develop cultural institutions such as museums and galleries, and to provide an effective system for collecting, protecting, preserving and interpreting historic sites, monuments and artifacts. The QMA was established as a government department and is currently subject to all the laws, rules and regulations that apply to government departments of State of Qatar. Finance Department is one of the key support departments in QM for 38 different functions and supervises all intercompany financials. Finance currently works in units; namely Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, Budgeting, and Cash Management, which are understaffed compared to the large volumes of transactions. Furthermore, Finance has undergone several structural changes since QM was founded, which led to several changes in the way Finance operates. However, in 2016, Finance Department initiated the transformation for its own functions and adopted Oracle ERP in 2016. Additional support is needed to satisfy operational requirements and therefore, Finance requires skilled operational professionals in Finance in QM Premises (hereinafter referred to as “Consultants” or “Professionals”).
