As part of the implementation of the FCV Strategy, the WBG isscaling up its strategic, operational, and analytical support to address thediverse risks impacting fragile and conflict-affected countries. The FCV Groupplays an important role in operationalizing the FCV Strategy and providingtailored support to country management units (CMUs) and sectoral teams toaddress specific country and regional-level FCV challenges more effectively.In that context, the WB wants to deepen its understanding andknowledge of dynamic and rapidly changing political economy and FCV-relateddevelopments. The WB seeks to engage a vendor that provides monitoring andanalysis of local (and regional) FCV dynamics in the Sahel region to betterunderstand the forward-looking risks of fragility, conflict, and violence thatmay emerge or intensify. The services include regular briefings highlightingmonitoring and analysis of FCV risks and the provision of written follow-upsummary briefs for each region.
