The Santiago Network Secretariat is issuing this call for proposals to catalyze technical assistance from organizations, bodies, networks, and experts (OBNEs) in response to a request from the Niue Island United Association of Non-Governmental Organizations (NIUANGO).This technical assistance initiative aims to strengthen Niue-s community governance by equipping local, faith-based, and grassroots organizations with the specialized skills and tools needed to address climate-induced loss and damage. By fostering locally led and culturally grounded approaches, the technical assistance will build long-term institutional capability to document both economic and non-economic impacts, ultimately enabling communities to access vital climate finance. The technical assistance seeks to establish an inclusive, future-ready response system that integrates gender equality and human rights, improve national infrastructure planning, and engage the Niuean diaspora to ensure long-term population resilience and cultural preservation. All proposals must be submitted via the UNOPS grant management platform Grant+Members of the Santiago Network are eligible to respond to this call for proposals.
