The UNFCCC secretariat is seeking a qualified vendor to provide the following:Access to Microsoft Azure cloud services through an authorized Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP). The objective is to enable efficient procurement and management of Azure consumption and reserved capacity for the UNFCCC secretariat over a period of several years. The intended contract will support an existing operational Azure CSP footprint, with an expected gradual annual reduction, as the footprint of infrastructure hosted in CSP subscriptions is reduced whilst legacy systems are decommissioned, and new systems are deployed in Azure subscriptions under a Microsoft Enterprise agreement.To be eligible to participate in the solicitation exercise, vendors must attach evidence of the following to the EOI:Status as Microsoft-authorized Tier 1 or Tier 2 CSPMinimum 3 years' experience with Azure CSP provisioningDetailed specifications will only be provided as part of the ITB, which will be issued after the closing date of this request for EOI. The platform aims to provide anaccessible and user-friendly interface that enables participants to: Participate in events in accordance with their registration type; Access information related to meetings; Select preferences for event content; Interact with other conference participants.The UNFCCC will be looking to invite qualifiedvendors as part of an upcomig RFP process to submit proposals for the platform, outlining solution details and including their technical capabilities, project management strategies and experience with similar projects. Solutions based on an existing, out-of-box solution accompanied by integrationservices, or on a method for pulling together existing parts of the UNFCCC architecture to build a simple yet effective solution will be both considered equally.
