The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Sources Sought announcement is issued to conduct market research and identify parties interested in, and with the resources to support, the Kuwait Ministry of Defense (KMOD), Kuwait Air Force (KAF) fixed-wing aircraft platform, and associated facilities and installations throughout the Country of Kuwait. The contemplated requirement is for facility maintenance and support services, to include recurring preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, inspections, repairs, spare parts procurement, inventory management, incidental minor construction, and other related support services under a potential Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC), with an anticipated five-year ordering period. As a result of this market research, the U.S. Government will gain a better understanding of industry capabilities for this potential future requirement. The US Army has a sole source requirement to procure, Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) and Engineering Services (ES) for the UH-72 fleet in order to meet the Army-s readiness requirements. The UH-72 is the Army-s Light Helicopter has been procured since 2006. CLS includes the provisioning of parts and repairables, tools, support equipment, and technical manuals; contractor field teams; overhauls; and field and depot level maintenance. ES includes services in support of the UH-72 and modification/modernization requirements. This procurement will allow the UH-72 to execute designated missions to include General Support, Homeland Security, Medical Evacuation, Reconnaissance, Test, and Training. These efforts are anticipated to be awarded via follow-on contract to Contract W58RGZ-22-C-0022. The contract shall be Firm Fixed-Price and shall consist of a six-month base with four one-year option periods.
