As an extension of the Life+ Nature Anthropofens program (2020-2025), dedicated to the preservation of alkaline peatlands which are natural environments of community interest recognized for their originality, their rarity and the biodiversity they shelter. THE Scarpe-Escaut Regional Nature Park, manager of the Vred Peatland Regional Nature Reserve, wishes to continue the management actions for the remarkable habitats that make it up, included in the management plan. With the support of the Union European Union and the Hauts-de-France Region, the Regional Natural Park has decided to implement management work on natural environments.
