The main applicant and administrator of the project is the Urban Environment Division of the City of Lappeenranta. In addition to the City of Lappeenranta, the project includes the cities of Turku, Vaasa, Kouvola, Oulu, Espoo, Kokkola, Tampere, Järvenpää and Helsinki. For the planning of this AI project, the municipalities have invited the Ministry of the Environment, Senate Properties, the Association of Finnish Cities and Municipalities (AFCM), universities, and other Finnish, European and international public organisations to participate in stakeholder cooperation. The main driving force behind the need for a new AI service is the national need for the use of data analysis models arising from the reform of the Building Act and Decree. In Finland, the new Building Act was adopted by the Parliament in February 2023. 1. Portal solution for registration of parking permits (PPMO)
The contracting authority strives for the digital modernization of its individual agendas. One of these agendas is the parking policy of the city of Olomouc (hereinafter also "PPMO"). Currently, the territorial scope of the parking policy is valid only for two parking zones (A and B). In the planned extension to zones C and D (including their sub-areas), it is also necessary to modify and strengthen the existing part of the PPMO, which takes care of the registration of parking permits. Therefore, the contracting authority has decided to procure the services of a new modern system for registering parking permits, while with the help of these services, faster check-in of citizens will be optimized, connections to state administration registers, connections to other PPMO systems for more efficient processing of transmitted data will be ensured, and a modern graphic interface will also be achieved according to current trends.
