The Millennial Square was completed in 2011 and is a place with several activities. It currently houses one skatepark, ballbinge, rumbling stones, playground apparatuses for the smallest children, as well as seating and a stage with sitting amphi. The park is used by small and large inhabitants. The municipality would like the space to be more inviting and include several activity possibilities. The contracting authority shall upgrade and develop the Millennial Square to a year-round arena for play, activity, meeting places and events for the target group 0-100 years, with a high emphasis on universal design, environment, flexible use in summer/winter and good lighting/safety. The procurement services of the City of Turku's corporate administration requests offers for the transport and machinery services of the Port of Turku Oy for the period 1 May 2026 to 30 April 2029, after which the contract can be extended by the Customer's decision under the original conditions with a two (2) year option. Acquisition the target is the fleet of trucks and excavators with the necessary additional equipment suitable for earthworks and maintenance work at the Port of Turku. The driver of the vehicle and excavator must, if necessary, participate in earthworks and maintenance work and be able to to transport work machines owned by the Port of Turku, e.g. wheel loader and tractor equipment. The work will be carried out according to the customer's changing needs. The subscriber does not commit to a certain amount of work. The transport equipment used in earthworks must be suitable for the needs of construction and maintenance work. E.g. Crane, plowing equipment, washing equipment.
