Swindon Borough Council is seeking to form a contract with a suitable provider for supply of broad range of housing repairs materials and other associated items including (but not limited to) electrical, heating, paints and decorative materials, Roofing, Windows and glass, kitchens, bathroom, ironmongery, sanitaryware, clothing, doors, power tools, aggregates, insulations, gas, plumbing, highways, street lighting, timber, fencing, site safety equipment, etc. The initial contract term will be for Four (4) years with an option to extend for a further Two (2) years plus a further One (1) year extension. Estimated contract spend is Β£12m excl. VAT across the initial 4 year contract term and Β£21.3m excl. VAT across the potential total Seven (7) year contract term. Associated risk with this procurement: The value of the contract can change over the contract duration (including extension) due to increase in housing stocks over the period of time or where major repair is to be undertaken across the housing stocks. The impact of this increase can be upto circa Β£2m (10%) additional sums over contract duration. The Agency for Urban Environment in Oslo municipality is responsible for the management, operation, maintenance and development of municipal urban spaces in Oslo. The urban rooms include common areas such as roads, streets, squares, meeting places, parks and public recreation areas, municipal sports and outdoor facilities and municipal owned areas in Marka and inner Oslofjord. Oslo municipality has set requirements and arranged its procurements for building and construction contractor services since 2019 in order to reduce the municipality ́s direct emissions of greenhouse gases. At the transition to 2025, the municipality sharpened these arrangements so that building and construction projects under the auspices of the municipality ́s entities as a main rule shall be implemented with; 1) emission free systems at the building or construction site, 2) emission free or biogas based mass transport and; 3) emission free or fossil free vehicles for other transport (depending on the allowed total weight). The requirements are in the accompanying annex to this notice. The aim of this survey is to update the Agency for Urban Environment ́s knowledge around the market's maturity in order to use the main rules here presented in the Urban Environment Agency's typical project portfolio.
