Göttinger Verkehrsbetriebe GmbH (GöVB) is a municipal transport company wholly owned by the city of Göttingen. It operates local public transport in the city of Göttingen and neighboring regions and ensures its Bus fleet ensures the daily mobility of residents and guests. As a sector client within the meaning of Section 100 GWB, the GöVB is responsible for the procurement of services and systems that ensure the operation and further development of public transport. The GöVB is pursuing the goal of gradually converting its bus fleet to alternative, especially electric, drives. In doing so, it makes a significant contribution to sustainable mobility, reducing emissions and achieving the climate goals of the City of Göttingen. The expansion of the e-bus fleet is accompanied by a significant need for modern charging infrastructure that enables efficient, reliable and economical operational management.
