More... Dorset County Council And Its Named Partners In This Notice, Are Looking To Create A Dynamic Purchasing System For Providers To Deliver Apprenticeship Training Services From August 2017. This Is In Response To The Government S Reform Of Apprenticeships And The Introduction Of The Apprenticeship Levy Which Came Into Effect On 1 April 2017. The Council Is Looking To Maximise The Use Of The Levy Pot Available Across All Its Service Areas Whilst Also Supporting Our Partners To Make Use Of Their Own Levy Pots By Accessing Our Dynamic Purchasing System Providers. As A Schedule 3 ("Light Touch") Service The Contracting Authorities With The Need For Apprenticeship Training Can Decide How To Procure Via The Dynamic Purchasing System, Either By Further Competition With A Split Of Quality And Price Or By Further Competition By Price Only. This Will Be Determined By Each Named Authority As The Need Arises. The Numbers, Volumes And Types Of Apprentices Will Vary From Authority To Authority.
