Dynamic Purchasing System (Dps) - Day Opportunities
PLEASE NOTE: This DPS was originally established within the adam DPS system and has been transferred in to the Council`s e-tendering system - ProContract. If you have already been appointed on to the Day Opportunities DPS then you do not need to reapply.


The DPS will be used as the mechanism ...and supporting people to live as independently as they can in their own communities wherever possible.

The term of the DPS shall be 16 October 2017 until 15 October 2021 with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months the sole discretion of the Council i.e. up until the 15 October 2023. More... PLEASE NOTE: This DPS was originally established within the adam DPS system and has been transferred in to the Council`s e-tendering system - ProContract. If you have already been appointed on to the Day Opportunities DPS then you do not need to reapply. The DPS will be used as the mechanism through which the Council will procure day opportunities services for adults, which places a strong emphasis on outcomes, so that a person`s needs and aspirations can be met. Types of/examples of/range of services include art classes, woodwork sessions, gardening and drama all with a focus on meeting outcomes. The DPS is being established to enable greater choice, flexibility and personalisation for adults needing services, as well as to drive improvements in quality in the market. It is a key priority of the Council to protect the most vulnerable by taking a person-centred approach, helping residents on the island to enjoy a good quality of life and supporting people to live as independently as they can in their own communities wherever possible.
