Introduction
South Gloucestershire Council currently uses a Framework Agreement to source all of its local Transport Services. Although this Agreement runs until 1 April 2023, the Council is making early preparations for its potential replacement with a Dynamic Purchase System (DPS).

The Council is seeking interest at this very early stage to enable as many providers as possible to come on-board.What is a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)?A DPS is a completely electronic procurement system that provides the Council with access to a pool of Potential Providers. A DPS differs from a conventional Framework in that new Potential Providers can join the DPS pool at any time.In order to join the DPS pool, applicants must submit a completed Standard Selection Questionnaire (SSQ) and answer Quality Questions. These responses are evaluated to establish the applicant s general suitability to meet the Council s particular requirement by reviewing aspects of the applicant s background.
